According to the New York Times there was a tribute concert to Peggy Lee yesterday in New York, during which one of the performers was Nancy Sinatra. This seems to me to be beyond a travesty. yours, Peter T. - |

25 Jun 03 - 08:39 PM (#972400) Subject: RE: Peggy Lee Tribute by Nancy Sinatra (!?) From: pattyClink I don't get the problem. Nancy S. was a friend of the lady's, her dad did duets with Miss Lee. Nancy is a good singer skilled in the jazz standards style, one of few people in her generation who were, with a sultry low voice like Peggy's. She agrees to help out with a tribute and you want to call it a travesty. Sheesh. Change your will, buddy. Remind your mourners they're not welcome at any memorials for you unless they're A-list performers who get prior approval from you. |
