Gee Little Hawk I'm glad to hear from you!

Would you be up for some canoeing?

If I don't buy one I still have one from work!

Yup. Will do. Shortly. The canoe sounds okay to me, as long as we don't negotiate any rapids.

What does the grass have to do with it?

Explanation: Raptor is an old pal of mine (fellow musician) who rarely posts on this forum, and he tends to use few words (when typing), and I don't think he's got the PM thing worked out yet, so I had to get his attention in the above manner.

Check Raptor's 27 Jun 03 - 01:44 PM post to the "Where's Little Hawk?" thread, LH, for explanation about the grass thing.

Little Hawk, I think you'll really enjoy this "discussion" between St. Francis and "God" about how Americans cut their grass and tend their lawns.   I'd copy it out, but it's a bit long ... good for a hoot though!

Ha! Ha! Ha! Wonderful! I have watched my mother obsess over this grass thing for decades. That's great, daylia! Thanks for the link.

Me.

Saw a map of the world at an exhibition today which had Toronto at the centre, with the rest of the world spread out on all sides- so you could easily measure how far anywhere in the world is from Toronto.

If it had been Orilia would be more understandable...

I'm in Bury, Lancashire, NW England, Raptor.

The exhibition was a Librarians' conference at UMIST in Manchester. Didn't find out the relevance to Toronto... maybe it's where the mapmaker came from :0)

A bit far for me to travel for a canoe trip :0( Nice thought though.

If I'd been you, Noreen, I'd have said, "I'm at the keyboard. Where are you?"
