05 Jul 03 - 03:32 PM (#977420) Subject: RE: Flying Chaucers in the park this Sunday From: lady penelope Actually Noreen No it's not. The park Sarah the Flute is refering to is the largest in London. You could quite easily miss a full size orchestra if you're not sure where it's supposed to be. It's over a mile across. The normal place for concerts is in the grounds of Kenwood House, but this is by no means the only place where they have musical entertainment. TTFN Lady P. |

I can only think that the diet I am on has removed my ability to read coherent sentences. As it turns out I'm not going to able to make it, I hope they go down well. TTFN Lady P. |

07 Jul 03 - 08:31 AM (#978203) Subject: RE: Flying Chaucers in the park this Sunday From: Sarah the flute Sorry for not getting back til after the event - not at work ... now have just popped in to do tidying up etc for the hols We had a great time on the bandstand yesterday with a good crowd - not sure if there were any mudcatters there. There were a baunch of people doing tantric yoga in front of us and they didn't move off when we started playing so I guess that must be a positive sign. We are parking again on a bandstand in West ham park, London on Sunday 31st August - more details nearer the time! Thanks for your interest! Sarah |
