From: open mike I have just returned form Kate Wolf Memorial Festival sort of expected to see Lane there, but i was sick most of the time and sleeping in camp. only got to the main music stage a couple of times, and did not even take my instruments out of their cases--no jamming. boo hoo. Got a bad cold and missed a lot of the music, but luckily most is broadcast over the radio, so was able to hear Iris Dment and Greg Brown's sets. Any one else have news to report? Laurel ps this festival is in memory of a wonderful woman, a singer songwriter who died something like 15 years ago from leukemia. |
