Help with unknown (Irish?) instrumental

Can any of you great people help me find a track that I heard
probably in the late seventies or early eighties.
It is an instrumental by (I'll have to lapse into "sounds like" here) Padra or padrach O'Doignan
recorded live and issued by Gaylyn (Gailyn)
and called "Readur (Rheadur) S'Giatur"
This is a wonderful tune but I only have a very short section
of it.
It starts with two or more whistles, the whistles cut out and the
tune continues with what sounds like two or more fiddles, these
then stop playing and the pipes come in. and behind it all is
a bodhran driving out the rhythm.

Marvelous stuff and I'd love the full recording.

Thanks in advance to you all.

Loo

It couldn't be Patrick O'Gorman could it?

I found a reference to him here Here and the type/range of instruments and dates look about right, could be wrong but worth a look?

Presumably the record label would be Gael Linn. They have recorded Pádraig Ó Dúgáin.

Smallpiper and Malcome.

Very many thanks to both of you for attempting to find this for me.
I have been to both sites, and I agree with you Smallpiper that the
instruments and dates are very much as I tried to describe them.
Going through their list of records however doesn't bring out
anything with a title that looks as if it sounds anything like the
one given on the track (if that makes sense). But thanks once again for a good try.

Malcome, I think that you may have come very much closer to the mark
with your message, (I would never have guessed by the way that it
was spelt "Gael Linn"), On searching this site I came across an
album in commemoration of the Irish poet Peadar O'Doinin (1702 - 1769)
with the title of " O' Riada Sa Gaiety " which would pretty well
match what I'm hearing on the track. I think that I'm getting close.

I will dig a bit further and peruse a bit more and then see about contacting Gael Linn.

Thanks again to both of you, I didn't think I would get an answer
to this one (O ye of little faith)

I should have known better.

The power of the mudcat strikes again

Cheers
