heard this song while drunk and cant remember most of it but it talks about his day drinking and he keeps singing something like "aint got no luchas luchas" or maybe its lucas lucas. Anyway, I think hes saying he aint got no money for his beer Any help finding this one would be appreciated.

Hi dt,

Remember that this is a folk and blues music site, so hip-hop is not really within our sphere of reference. There may be hip-hop music newsgroups that you could try. The best that any of us can do is to search the 'Net using a good search engine like google.com, using a search term such as the phrase you have mentioned. It's harder when you are not really sure of the exact word and its spelling.

Have you tried phoning a radio station which plays hip-hop or going to your CD store and asking about it?

"Lucre" or sometimes spelled "lucer" is the Spanish word for money. It is used in the English language often in the phrase "filthy lucre", and gives us the word lucrative. So, this is possibly the word you are looking for.

Maybe Bob, but some folks certainly prefer it to music. To me it sounds like people trying to blurt last words of doggerel while being electrocuted. Still, that's the great thing about radios - they have off switches!
