Bill Keith/Earl Scruggs Lawsuit?

In the Pete Seeger Banjo Vituosity thread Rick Fielding made this statement.

A great transitional player was Bill Keith who transcribed Scruggs Playing in the sixties, A LOT of Northerners got the style from that. This incredible book almost didn't happen.....Louise's lawyers had to settle a lawsuit on the courthouse steps, rewarding Keith for all the work he'd put into it! Glad they did!

Rick, can you give us more details?

No I cant Steve. The Banjo players seem to know about it, but I've never read anyhing official.

I couldn't find anything about it on google, but it was a long time ago and involved royalties. Perhaps it's a rumour, but I've heard it from several sourse.....didn't come to anything though.
