13 Jul 03 - 08:04 PM (#982589) Subject: BS: What are the chances? From: kendall Last Friday, I was driving in eastern Maine, and as I passed a radio station, WERU, I flipped the radio on, and there was Utah Phillips talking about the Maine "voice". He played a cut from my Beginners Luck as an example. He also mentioned the young lady who produced the show he was talking about two years ago. I couldn't resist, walked into the station, and there was the woman who just happened to be there! What are the chances that all that would happen at once? |

From: DonMeixner Submitted for your approval, A schooner Captain turned folksinger has a case of near deja vous, a dose of celestial coincidence that boggles the mind and causes pause to ponder. Not your usual FM fare for a Friday nite's radio menue but certainly an interesting apertif here in this internet diner we call The Mudcat Zone... |

We ended up planning two tours, one in Maine, the other in California. I hate to fly what with Bush the lesser declaring war on everyone who is not a Christian, and the airlines farming their maintainence out to any incompetent who gives them the lowest bid. Amtrac wants $1000.00 to take me to California. Anyone have access to a time machine? |
