19 Jul 03 - 06:11 PM (#986706) Subject: Playing the bouzouki From: GUEST,SeaKing Can anyone give me some tips to get going on the bazouki (or is it bouzouki ?). I bought a new one recently (festival, beer tent, rush of blood etc) and need a few basics to get going - commom tunings, a few easy chords, etc. I've tried to find a 'Teach yourself to play Bazouki' type book but they seem rare and I cant find a website with the type of information I need. I'm used to finding my way round guitar open tunings so hopefully will be able to self teach once I get pointed in the right direction. I'm looking to learn the instrument specifically for song accompaniment so any advice around that would be especially welcome from any 'old hands'. Cheers CK |

Published by Waltons - you could get it via Hobgoblin, for example. The site can give you a price. It's basic in a comprehensive way, and comprehensive in a basic way. |
