I'm imterested in finding further streaming of radio folks shows. I know of WFUV Fordham Uni in the States ( NYC?) and the Planet in Australia.

Anybody know of other sources ? I'm particularly interested in English and Scottish content.

Try my favorite radio station, the local listener-supported outlet at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey. They play a very eclectic mix of music (folk, alt., country, blues, bluegrass, etc.) with no adverts, and presented by knowledgeable and interesting DJs. You can hear WBJB at .

wksu.org also has something they call the FolkStream: an extended-format streaming show without the station breaks, calendar announcements, etc. It tends to be heavier on the (singer-songwriter) material than it is on traditional music, but I enjoy it. And if you register (free, and no spam as far as I can tell), you can get a streaming playlist to go with it.

Aloha,
Mark

Hi , try my program, the Northern Bridge, from KZSC in California. Its on 3pm-6pm local time every Monday and we do mainly traditional songs and music from the British Isles and Ireland and occasionally similar music from eg USA, Canada, etc.
We're off line at the moment but expect to be back with more band width shortly. More info at KZSC.UCSC.edu'

If you go to the BBC "where you live" page, you will find archives of Archie Fisher's program on Radio Scotland, and Frank Hennessey's shows, and others with celtic content. Also, FolkScene on kpfk.org has moved to Sat am, but will likely still play some celtic music. See publicradiofan.com for a listing of all npr stations playing Thistle and other folk shows. There is also a celtica radio website.
Google it and it will come!!
I am a fan of cerdd werin Cymraeg (Welsh folk music) - listen to Linda Healy's show on Sunday afternoons on Radio Cymru.

If the link is messed up, search for Live 365. Their folk music listings include a highlands program.
