After reading the Bob Hope obit, I think we're ready for a non-controversial obit. For 40 years, Ms. Barbe was the voice on all phone company recordings. She told us the correct time, why our calls couldn't get through and more recently, which button to press to get whatever person you wanted to speak with, and plenty of other info. I'm sorry, but Ms. Barbe is no longer in service.
