31 Jul 03 - 01:23 PM (#994313) Subject: RE: Anything happening on Arran (Aug) From: Leadfingers We were in a cottage on Arran nearly twenty years ago,so my info is not exactly up to date,but back then there was something on in one or the other of the hotels every night.Usully local singers and musos who were being paid to do the 'Traditional Scottish'thing and welcomed any one who came in with an instrument as it meant that they could do something different without endangering the gig. We had a great time as it IS a lovely island and some of the music was great fun. Go and enjoy yourselves. |
