31 Jul 03 - 06:13 PM (#994550) Subject: RE: BS: Hul9 - The Verdict From: Les from Hull Well now that's just some story about Dwight Yorke speeding. Even when I searched for a Hull story it sent me back there. Perhaps they've found some way of keeping the truth from us. We are a city of interesting smells, though. Though at least the rotting piles of fishheads I grew up with are no more. Les, Pretender to the Throne of Hull |

02 Aug 03 - 05:12 AM (#995438) Subject: RE: BS: Hul9 - The Verdict From: smallpiper Ah that would be it then. Personally I think it is a great place. If people only lifted their heads when walking around the city they would see some amazing architecture. Ok so there is the occasional smell, but it isnt fish anymore and as for the chocolate factory - that smell is very localised and it remindes me of when I was a kid and mum would be baking a chocolate cake its not at all offensive! |
