Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Margret |

Sol Weber has some good quodlibets in Rounds Galore and Rounds Galore and More (click). My favorite, though, is What a goodly thing (Jean Ritchie's Peace Round) Shalom Chaverim Wade in the water Hey yanna ho yanna hey yan yan (NA Indian chant) |
06 Aug 03 - 08:36 AM (#997835) Subject: RE: Quodlibets ('partner songs') From: Vixen Well, without knowing they were actually related songs, I superimposed Rambler Gambler (the Joan Baez version as sung by me) onto Pretty Mary (the Peter, Paul and Mary version as sung by Reynaud). I found out years later that both songs are variants of Wagoner's Lad, so of course they go together. Combining other pairs of variants might yield equally interesting results. V |

"Art of the Ground Round for 3 baritones & discontinuo, S. $1. 19/lb" can be found on the album "The Intimate PDQ Bach." PoC |

Web radio can be useful! |
