PMing Max - A New Beginning

Subject: PMing Max - A New Beginning
From: Max

OK, I just cleared out hundreds upon hundreds of PMs from my account. I know I have never been good at getting back to people, and for that I am sorry. Just the volume of them: many that should be threads, many with no point, many that should go to dick or Pene, etc. etc. And my life, career change, new baby, old baby, excuses excuses.

So here's the deal. I cleared them all out, there gone. I did this out of frustration because there were just so many. So I'll ask anyone that has not gotten a response from me and still wants one to PM me. You can go to your "View Your Sent Messages" and copy and paste it into a new one to me if you want.

I hereby give my word, and place my reputation on the line that I will respond to each and every one of them or forward them to dick or Pene where appropriate. If I fail to respond to anyone, you have my permission, and I will instruct all the volunteers not to kill it, to start a thread berating me and calling me a liar and whatnot.

Just trying to kill my bad habits ONE AT A TIME like a squirrel and his nuts. So, please accept my apologies, and write to me if you'd like. It'd teach me a lesson.

Boy! Nothing like taking on a Herculean task, SuperMax! Sounds to me as though you're taking on a huge time committment which may not be necessary. Why don't you hang on until LiliAni is old enough to play secretary for you?

LOL! I really need to clean out my Sent Messages; the 'Delete' button has helped a lot with my 'Received' messages........Good on ya Max, all you can do is try.

"ONE AT A TIME like a squirrel and his nuts".

Ouch! That sounds extraordinarily painful and unnecessarily vindictive towards yourself.

You've created a monster which you couldn't be expected to control. Just take satisfaction in the enjoyment you've given a whole bunch of people, many of whom have only the most nebulous idea of who you are.

Max: dont make promises you know you can't keep! I hearby absolve you, and give you permanent permission not to bother to reply to any message I send you.

What I badly need to clear out is my traced threads, but not all of them. I'm one of those people who can't throw anything away without looking at it and checking if I want it first. I wonder if I'll ever get as frustrated as Max and just detrace them all, bang bang bang without looking - I doubt it.

Same problem with my deleted files on Outlook Express. You'd think I could just say to hell with them all, after all I did delete them originally, but no, I need to look at them again first. ARGGGGHHH!

Max - I'd much rather that you enjoy your LIFE, your Lady, your daughters - and your music - if that means messages don't get answered - sobeit!

No problem Max......All of mine say that you need a kick in the balls so have jeff give you one. Of course now that you've brought some poor squirrel into it I dunno'.........Make sure you get the the ball blast and not the poor, innocent, squirrel.

Hey Max ....who's perfect ....I'm not

Enjoy life while you are still young enough too
....regrets are for the old.

Actually nutty, I believe in regrets being for the young while they can still do something about it!

Yeah -- if Spaw were capable of regrets he wouldn't have said half the things he has about others' testicles and such....

Just a BIG "THANK YOU"   Max for keeping this site here for us,
anytime, all the time! 24 - 7.

We learn, laugh, ask questions, get answers, etc, etc, etc, here.
I haven't found a better, friendlier site, (and don't need to).

What else can I say

take care

Cattail 0~

I'll have to differ ...... Catspaw

This is the way I see it ........

If you are young and can change things there is no need for regrets ....these come when you are old enough to look back and wish you had taken your chances when you had them.

I guess this is as good a time as any go to in and clean out the backlog of PMs that have been read and forgotten in my files. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction, Max!
