Lyr Req: Little Tommy

I'm always looking for songs my Dad used to sing. This time it's one about Little Tommy. It starts out:

Never more upon the mat he will play with pussycat
Never more between his teeth he'll pinch her tail
Never more he'll rub her nose up against the red-hot stove
For our Little Tommy's gone and kicked the pail

I remember the tune, but only bits & pieces of the lyrics. Dan anyone help me?

See these two earlier discussions:

My Darling Blue Haired Boy  Includes words from Horton Barker, Virginia.

Death of Willie (Bob Dyer, Australia)  Text as recorded by Bob Dyer, 1939; with one verse from the repertoire of George Maynard, Sussex.

It seems to have had a variety of titles. The Roud Folk Song Index (where it is number 1411) lists a song from Gene Autry's repertoire, My Cross Eyed Gal, under the same heading.

Thanks, Malcolm, for the referral. And hello to Art Theime, hope you're doing well.
