From: Cruiser There was a ditty we kids used to sing and whistle with the words "The British are coming Huray, Huray!" repeated 2 more times, followed by another phrase, then in would break into 'Gary Owen'. I think they are different melodies, but very close. I guess they could be variations of the same tune. Any ideas on the correct song title and the lyrics of this common melody? I know you have heard it if you were a kid in the 1950's Cruiser |
