15 Sep 03 - 10:31 AM (#1019184) Subject: RE: Bernard Carney's UK 2003 Tour From: Sandra in Sydney Bernard was one of the featured acts at Jamberoo festival last weekend. He writes songs ranging from 'Gardens of Death' (against landmines, adopted by the Red Cross anti-landmine campaign) to 'Bronchiodilated blues' (getting colds at festivals!) & also has an amazing collection of music hall & vintage singalong stuff. He & his wife Eleanor also direct a union choir & teach workshops. He is good value, so if you get a chance to see him, grab it, or as Bugsey says, book him. sandra |
