Douglas Kiernan (Dougie to his mates) was born on 1st sept at 6.50pm weighing 7lbs 2oz. He was 11 days late and born after a very long labour so we needed a bit of help. Had to stay in hospital for a week because of a complication with the epidural, hence the delay in letting you know. Bagpuss |

We were lucky, as the intensive care bit was all over in twelve days. It was quite sobering to see what some of the other parents had to go through. I think having your kids and taking them home are the best days of your life. I come over all soppy when I think about it happening to anyone! |
