From: Missymor Hello to all, I am trying to find the chords (or sheetmusic) fo a few old songs sung at Various renaissance festivals. Can anyone help? Here are the ones I need... Canaan's land Health to the Company Good luck to the Barleymow The Chandler's wife The gathering of the Clans I am working with someone who is knoledgable enough on several instruments but I don't sing well enough for him to figure out the notes...Yikes. Any help would be much apreciated! |

From: GUEST,leeneia Go to Google advanced search and enter the name of the song (or a distinctive phrase from it) along with the word "chords". This just worked for me with "to Canaan's land" If the chords are not in the right key for you, get with a person trained in music and transpose them. |

From: Murray MacLeod If there is one thing I normally detest it is people replying to these threads saying "there are no chords to "XXXXXX" it is an unaccompanied song". Regretfully I have to join their ranks and say that "Health to the Company" is one song that be sung unaccompanied. The melody is just too capricious for guitar accompaniment. IMHO ... Murray |
