Can anybody confirm if Noreen's diary allows her to come the the Excellent Manchester Extravaganza....or is she in the USA?

Perhaps I should employ an efficient person to keep my diary for me, JJ- you offering?

I do write things down, but some are written in my desk diary, some on the calendar on the wall and still others in my diary in my handbag. And my memory is not what it was... but at least I remember where my diaries are!

You've got your extra plug in for the Manchester Extravaganza, which I'll be very sorry to miss.

Noreen don't worry about your diary as it's in code, just don't let them get their hands on your little black book!!
Giok

Hiya Noreen!

So does this mean you can't go to the Extravaganza 'cos you're in America?

You're quick on the uptake today, JJ...!

Yes, the fantabulous Manchester Exta-vaganza takes place on the same weekend (18/19 October) as the Folk Sociey of Greater Washington's Getaway at Camp Ramblewood, Maryland.

It is a difficult decision to make, (not seen Dave Burland for years), but since I'll be flying to New York on Fri 17th, I think I'll go to the Getaway.

When my first International Tour is over, I'll make a point of visiting the Railway and Linnet.

:0)

I toured the USA once. Don't see what the problem is now that the M60 is finished. You can easily get to the R&L from Urmston, Stretford or Altrincham...

Found my Lett's Schoolboy Diary for 1969 and hopefully perused it for some flickering gems from my past...only one entry - - Man Lands on Moon!! A bit like finding one from 1666 and it just says: "Big Fire!"

I've just checked my diary, and very pretty it looks, too! It used to be quite plain, but checks really make it stand out... hmmm... may be on to something here... a cheap alternative to viagra... oo-er!!

My diary went missing, but I spotted it the other day. It looks nice too, although possibly the puce was a mistake against the lemon.

Giok - I should think that Noreen's "Little Black Book" runs to about twelve volums by now.
