He was a painter from Salford, famous for industrial landscapes. |

The Beeb's been accused of dumbing down with these progs. I can see why, but I think the premise of having a painter re-create a known work of art gives an insight into the original painter's philosophy and technique. Anyone who, like me, has done a bit of painting will know already that it's not just a matter of simply slapping some paint onto paper or canas. Steve |
