16 Sep 03 - 09:51 AM (#1019857) Subject: RE: Acoustic oriented Open Mic Sheffield UK From: John Robinson (aka Cittern) Guitars are not compulsory - in fact the session is free and easy - we don't have drums and bass amps and the like (Julie plays acoustic guitar in her solo set) but there are no restrictions as to who can get up a do a few songs - last time we had acoustic guitar players and one unacompanied singer. As regards frequency, Julie was there last in June. Don't know if the pub has anything else similar happening, but if we can get a good turn out maybe it will turn into something more regular. Cheers for now. Best regards John Robinson http://www.JulieEllison.co.uk |
