BS: Tom DeLay

As you know by now, the senate voted to block the FCC from selling out to the media giants. Now, that arrogant creep, DeLay, says it is D.O.A. in the House. To quote an old saying from childhood, "Who the hell does he think he is"?

He's part of that inner circle of shrubs, their pointman in House. Look what he's done with Texas.

We need to retire him (along with Bush and his whole crew) without delay!

Be happy its Dead on arrival. Monopoly media is already on steroids, why give it crack?

PS DeLay was an exterminator (bugs and rats) in private life.

As I understand it, DeLay wants it to go as Bush wants it. That way, the FCC is gutted and people like Rupert Murdock, who hates democrats, can own the whole damn thing. The influence they could bring to bear on public opinion is scary!

The people who aren't bright enough to see this problem and think it through are the scary ones! Like lambs to the slaughter.

I think it's time to Google Tom DeLay /and/ Karl Rove. . .

And, GUEST, look at what has happened with TV's counterpart... radio.

When one of the Dixie Chicks spoke against Bush's push for war aginst Iraq, in less than 24 hours ClearChannel had folks breakin' CD's in the streets accross America.

This is not what *MEDIA* is supposed to be about. If anyone wants to get their butts brainwashed then get yer butt into a time machine and dial it in for Germany, 19 friggin' 38!

And funny I heard that the owner of ClearChannel had interesting connections to the White Goouse.

I hate to sound like Chicken Little, but anyone with more than a teaspoon full of brains can see that our democracy is in peril.

Americans, take your country back! The campaign cry of Howard Dean.

Sept. 15 press realease, Dean calls on Congress To Support Dorgan's Reversal of FCC Rule Changes
..."This is an important issue for all Americans. An independent media is vital to our democracy and strong local media coverage is important to rural Americans. The FCC rule changes would endanger both of these concepts. President Bush has threatened a veto of this measure. The Senate and House should force him to decide which is more important: an independent media or his corporate contributors."
