From: Bagpuss That really takes me back to my childhood when we all used to go down to Heworth metro station to watch the runners go past! I did the junior run for a few years too and I keep planning to get fit and do the proper run, but never seem to get around to it. I have a good excuse this year as I have just given birth - maybe next year? Bagpuss |

I'm not sure about a personal best though, I've spent most of my training charging up and down hills.....great for x-country / mountain marathon stuff, but I'm not sure about a road race. Thanks for the good wishes....I'll keep my eyes open for Mudcat T shirts. I'll be VERY easy to spot, I'll be the one at the back. (Wearing a Tally-Ho! running singlet with red and white hoops , very bright!) Cheers, John |
