An appeal for information.

BBC Wales is trying to find activists who were involved in the UK 1945 General Election.

Using my Labour Party Data base I have identified a few who were old enough to have neen involved now living in Caerphilly.

Unfortunatly those old enough were either not involved, or, like my mother, involved in England.

can any 'Catters help here ???

Please PM me

Discretion is assured.

Gareth

I seem to remember pulling down a Conservative party poster. Or it might have been a Communist poster - these long words starting with C looked much the same at that age.

In her autobiography, "Blue Remembered Hills" Rosemary Sutcliffe talks about being involved in the election, with her parents. Hope that's helpful.
