Tech: Disappearing Mudflap

Is it just me? I've been unable to get Mudcat to load for about 24 hours. When I eventually got on [now] there did not seem to be a large gap in posting times. Tell me I'm not imagining it!!

There is snother thread from Max explaining that there is a hardware problem which means he needs to build a new server (when time allows). He says that once this is completed, the problem should disappear.
Quack.

Funny, I can get on in the mornings, GMT, but not in the evenings, I suppose this is because everyone else in the jello eating world is logging on as well.

Or is it that my computer just doesn't do evenings.

Funny I think I am imagining that I logged on successfully this morning. If I wake-up now will I still be able to spool currictly ?

I think it is probably something to do with when Max plugs the toaster in. Or could it be that the dog thinks the server looks like a tree?

I've had trouble posting several times - one occasion I thought Submit would time out so I copied the message & saved it while it was thinking about submitting. Another time submit would not work at all & by the time I got back on several days later I'd forgotten what I was planning to submit & which thread it was!! Must have been a real pearl of wisdom.

Liz I seem to remember you saying that you didn't do mornings, in which case your computer is probably playing you at your own game.

No Giok - I'm unbearably cheerful in the mornings, as several people who were greeted chirpily at Towersey at 8.00am will testify. I don't think it warranted the reaction it got from some of them....

I don't get much chance to log in in the mornings, unless I'm going to be late for work, so I stick to evenings. Weekends are different though.....

The difference between Mudcat and women is that I hate it when Mudcat goes down on me . . . . .

Gosh! I thought it was just that this machine thingy hated me as my better half can usually log on anytime he wants! I have been having problems for over a week now but as you can see the doctor has fixed it|!!! When I can't get into Mudcat it is like not being able to reach a friend! I know "Get a life MairSea!"

Love and Peace to you all

Dave: so you're saying that Mudcat went down two and a half hours ago?

Q: What do you get when you cross an apple with a nun?

A: A computer that won't go down on you.
