I need to know why MIDI had to be standardised and what the problems were leading upto and during standardisation. Answers in as plain English as can be managed would be appreciated - I'm not much of a techno buff yet! Thanks, Fay xx |

MIDI is a means of transmitting information. In order for sender and reciever to communicate there needs to be an agreement as to what signals mean what information. |
