In case they object to the subject matter being BS - I'd like to point out that the vomit site is accompanied by a Bontempi organ rendition of a traditional tune called "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" by Turloch O'Callaghan. So help me. |

02 Oct 03 - 08:17 AM (#1027867) Subject: RE: Punch the Horse October Fest From: KJ Sob,sob, wail, wail, blub blub....... Heaven's Doggy-Door My best friend closed his eyes last night, As his head was in my hand. The Doctors said he was in pain, and it was hard for him to stand. The thoughts that scurried through my head, As I cradled him in my arms. Were of his younger, puppy years, And Oh...his many charms. Today, there was no gentle nudge With an intense "I love you gaze", Only a heart that's filled with tears Remembering our joy filled days. But an Angel just appeared to me, And he said, "You should cry no more, GOD also loves our canine friends, He's installed a 'doggy-door'!!! Aaaaaah |

I have just read that in all likelihood, I have been abducted by aliens, although I might has misconstrued the "blood in the bed upon waking up" question. This internet is really amazing. I can read about stuff in Brigg or Hibaldstow as it happens. |
02 Oct 03 - 08:38 AM (#1027884) Subject: RE: Punch the Horse October Fest From: The DeanMeister It seems that I have not been abducted. That's a relief. Thanks Karen. Does anyone want to buy a photocopier? Or a Triumph motorcycle? |
02 Oct 03 - 08:42 AM (#1027888) Subject: RE: Punch the Horse October Fest From: Oaklet You were a bright light for me My shining star Now the light has gone out How will I go on! I loved you in life and I love you in death Such sadness has swept me Away like a tidal wave Carried me to another place And now, someone else remains to grieve Because my pain is indescribable. You were my strength My brave little soldier And now, the strength has gone from me too I miss you, so desperately. You were everything to me You gave me so much joy And now, the angels are the lucky ones As they watch you romp on heaven's greens. But I too was lucky once, She loved me with all her heart We bonded in life, and now in death I'll carry her wherever I go Despite the sickening stench from the infection in her hooves I added the last line to inject a bit of realism. |

I have decided to conduct some experiments & get them to grow really big, then they can eat people I don't like, for example NHS managers, it would be really nice to see thir legs wriggling through the leaves whilst they were being slowly digested, & with that thought in my mind I shall retire to bed...sweet dreams. |

03 Oct 03 - 08:41 PM (#1029304) Subject: RE: Punch the Horse October Fest From: Bassic Sweetfire, you have a number of options when you wish to view the "wisdom of el ted". His words are listed as BS, but dont let that put you off. If your threads are mixed, which I believe is the only way to get the true "Mudcat experience", then it is just a case of looking for his "Welcome new `Catter, el ted" thread and all should become clear. If in your membership options you chose to separate the BS from the other stuff (a very "nerdy" thing to do IMHO) then it should most likely appear in the last half to a third of the threads page. If you chose to eliminate BS completely from the threads page in your membership options, then I will never speak to you again!! Or just do Smallpipers "clicky" and get there the easy way. el Gordo the prophet and first true disciple of el ted, originator of "flamenco, the true path"! |

Why not try to post drivel on it; it's: http://members.aol.com/bobbytailsbook/ODD/list.htms Thanks for KJ for introducing us to it. You are a Goddess-in-a-vest. Notice the way that Skip attracted a doggy diabetes flamer with his terrible post. "I feel sorry for the owner of Cara, perhaps her problems are not entirely phsysiological but more to do with the owners temperament and the way in which the poor animal is being treated. Maybe it is the owner who should be visiting a psychologist, then we may see an improvement in the dog." As vicous a mauling from the diseased-dog fraternity as you are ever likely to see in print. And I hope Skip, that you are ashamed. 9. |

20 Oct 03 - 07:07 AM (#1038269) Subject: RE: Punch the Horse October Fest From: KJ Here's a recipe for 'Hot Air Pie' Ingredients: One freshly dismembered politician, 2 Onions (diced) 1 clove garlic 3 Carrots 2 Tomatoes & a squirt of tomato puree Herbs to season 1 oxo cube Preparation: Lightly fry the politician & onions together until browned. Put into large pot, chuck in some water & rest of the ingredients. Simmer on a low heat for bloody ages as politicians are notoriously tough critters & will take a lot of tenderising. It may help if you beat seven shades of s**t out of the aforementioned politician prior to killing (oops I meant cooking)it. Serve with a decent wine & I think you may be pleasantly suprised at how palatable they are. |

A little something to cheer up the day: Gone with the wind An industrial tribunal in Sweden found that IT worker Goran Andervass was unfairly sacked for complaining when a colleague broke wind at work. The sensitive Swede rebuked his co-worker for deliberately farting in his office. "My colleague was absolutely aware of the awful smell" he said, "It was pure provocation ... and it made me terribly angry." The colleague complained to bosses who suspended Mr Andervass over his conduct, later making him redundant. He kicked up a stink in the courts though, and was awarded £58,000 compensation. Commenting on the case, Krister Skoglund of the Swedish Work Environment Authority ruled: "If a fart is done on purpose when going into somebody's office it is important that management takes the matter seriously." ............and yeh, it is a true story! |

24 Oct 03 - 04:09 AM (#1040869) Subject: RE: Punch the Horse October Fest From: The DeanMeister Funny you should ask, Guest. The equine pugilists are scheduled to appear at the Rose and Crown, Hornsea, on Saturday 1st November, with the lovely Nikki displaying her beauty and musical virtuosity for the benefit of the good people of Holderness. Following that, the following Sunday sees the return of the magnificent Oakley for the final appearance at the Sun Inn, Beverley. I'm currently treating the imminent re-emergence of PTH with a little alarm. I got the pot off my hand on Wednesday, and currently it feels worse than before I went to hospital. Movement is severely restricted, a large part of my thumb is completely numb, and any attempt to grip anything hard in my left hand (like, say, the neck of a guitar) is greeted with a bolt of excruciating pain in my hand and forearm. But, hey, it's still a week away, and I'm 'ard, me. KJ.....???? |
