I'm looking for a song and my daughter wants this old song to be played at her wedding. It's an oldie, probably 50/60's era. It's title I'm not sure but believe it's L.O.V.E. as the song sings "L is for the way you Look at me", "O is for the Ordinary.....", "V is for the Very Special......",etc. I want to believe it was sung by Tony Bennett but my husband wants to believe it was produced using by an entire band. Please help me find the artist and the song. Thanx for your help.

Hi - I'm thinking it was Perry Como. I can get severely harassed for posting a song like this on a folk music site, but here goes:

L-O-V-E
L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can

Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can

Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you
Love was made for me and you
Love was made for me and you

I guess I was wrong. I found a book that said the song was recorded by Nat "King" Cole. Words by Milt Gabler and music by Bert Kaempfert. Perry Como did "A-You're Adorable."

It's Nat King Cole.
