Both Getz and her husband wanted her on the recording but she didn't think of herself as a singer. Basically, they just tricked her. I don't remember how. That sort of thing was not uncommon then. |

It was the same beach and the actual girl who inspired the song. Even after all these years, she looked pretty darn good! I can't recall what the beach looked like. |
