Any one, other than this ol' hillbilly, find it curious that Gray Davis's support started its free fall after Enron manipulated power and ripped Californians off to the tune of $9B. Hmmmmm? Man, Bush and his boys must be havin' one side hurtin chuckle over this one....

It's the subversion of America, an election at a time, by a very clever bunch of boys, Bobert...led by Mr Kazl Rove. I wonder what his next target will be?

I am happy to report that Ontario, Canada just kicked out the people that he would most certainly be backing here...and in no uncertain terms. They had about 8 years to royally screw up this province, and people were so angry at them that they got massacred at the polls.

Thank God Karl Rove is south of the Canadian border, is all I can say.

I couldn't agree more strongly. For the past couple of decades, I've been very suspicious of the Republican party, as it's been going further and further right, smoothly, without hesitation or any backward steps. That indicates planning and manipulation. I think what we're seeing now is the fruit of all this planning -- taking over the US one state at a time, one presidency at a time. They have the voting software to make it happen. (I realize that sounds like a conspiracy theory -- I can only recommend you Google computerized voting machines and see the articles you get.)

Thank God for Jean Chretien, and I never thought I'd say that. Once he announced his retirement, he was free to put into play whatever ideological beliefs he has, and in doing so, has separated Canada from the US to an extent unknown in the last 30 years. Good for him.

And good for Ontario as well, LH. The legacy of Mike Harris was pure misery. Now please -- help us get rid of Gordon Campbell!

Kazl Rove, is that a curse in some language? The opposite of Mazel Tov?

Karl Rove is no joke! Google him as well, to find a really frightening man.

Doug's been on holiday overseas, I gather - but he'll be back in fighting fettle before long, no doubt. (Whether he likes Arnie's views on a lot of things I haven't a clue - but I'm sure he'll tell us.)

What do Arnie's view's have to do with anything? He's just going to turn things over to the folks who put out the millions to get his gropin' self elected.... We got another Ronnie Reagan here... Not a thought in his head other than, ahhhh, "nice ass"......

There's a remote chance Arnie might be better than the Ray Gun. Ron had altzheimer's most of his life, Arnie might have an opinion or two. Who knows?

Unless Arnie expects to be Governer for life, he will want to move back into films in a few years. The studios are run by a handful of people who can make or break such an attempt. That's as neat a conflict of interest as you will find anywhere.

Okay, misophist, I'll grant you that one, ahhhh, you know about Ronnie RayGun having the alzheimers all his life but that in itself does bump Arnie into the Menza class.

And BTW, does any one, other than this ol' hillbilly, find it curious that Ken Lay's Enron ripped Califonia off for $9B and the current deficit is 'sposed to be around $8B? Accordin' to my Wes Ginny slide rule, Kenny just didn't squeeze hard enough....
