Mademoiselle from Armentieres, parly voo, Maybe someone can add the tune, or more verses. Another verse ends "And all he learned was je t'adore!" I suppose it's unnecessary to say this, but resist any temptation to pronounce "mademoiselle", "Armentières", or "parlez-vous" in French. |

It was a popular marching song of the time, many verses were made up and added during the war, since it was soldiers making up these verses the more profane the better.
