Great stuff, Don. Not too sure if there isn't one that you could do that answers your question about not gettin' published. Big media is msellin' blood these days and has it's strongest chances under Bush and Colin Powell's son, Michael, who heads up the FCC, of scrappin the last 5 regulations of media ownership. Yep, seein' as Disney owns one of the Big 4, maybe you could have one with Mickey Mouse and Bush in bed together...

Love all of 'em...

Bobert

p.s. Ahhhh, not that I have any love for John Kerry but he is using the internet to expose one "Big Lie" of the Bush regime everyday and might find some of yer cartoons usable...

well, American publishers are very traditionalist...and these are 'different', being done with computer graphics. They also depend heavily on color, and might only work well in an online forum.

Also, I suspect that they are too hard-hitting and one-sided for most mainstream publishers. If I were a publisher, I would be asking,"what's this guy gonna do if a Democrat wins next year, and the political landscape suits him more?"

I'd bet that some Cyber Journal is the best bet, but I doubt there'd be much $$$ in it...

I like the Bushbill!

Donuel, you might see if the Liberal Opinion Week would be interested. They are at www.liberalopinion.com, though Bill does have a point about the colour; they only publish in b&w, BUT they might be iterested in putting them on their website.

Also, have you looked into selling the designs for posters/bumper stickers? Check out www.northernsun.com.

Thanks for sharing. Great stuff!

Good work. I wonder if Rumsfeld's mind has changed since he came close to being the "one" for a day last week.

I do agree with kat, that topical posters-bumperstickers might go well!

Thanks, Bill.:-)

Those ARE truly inspired, Don. YOu might also look for a publish outside of the US. Oh, and also check this out, they are looking for contributors: The Globalist.

My friend Karen and I have been doing a comic book together for 20 years. I write the scripts. She does the pictures. Kinkos does the rest.
You might try publishing those cartoons as posters, or a book and selling same over the internet. Try ads in "Rolling Stone, and a couple of other alternative magazines." You could also send a couple of those cartoons to "Rolling Stone," or "Mother Jones", or "Utne", they might publish them, and that might lead you to a publisher. Any bookstore will have a copy of "Artists' Markets". Check it out. Good Luck.
