They sound great. I thought I couldn't use 'em because my sweat destroys uncoated strings very quickly - but I've found that in the cooler weather (and we don;t get a lot in Texas) I can keep 'em on for a couple of weeks. I buy strings about a year's worth at a time, so I thought I'd get a mix this time; a bunch of Newtones and a smaller bunch of Elxiers. Who's got 'em on-line for US customers? |

Guitar Gallery, White House, TN The Acoustic Guitar, Calgary, Alberta (Yeah, yeah, I know that ain't the US, but Mike's good people [the first person I'd check with anywhere in this hemisphere should I want a Calton case] and they have good prices, in CA or US dollars). Usual disclaimers. Peter. (Now - did I do all those clickies right....?) |
