White guitars - request for info From: GUEST,Bman Anybody know anything about a Timothy White, who made guitars in Michigan in the late '70's under the name T. P. White? I have one I got in 1979. Very nice to look at, beautiful tone. Craftsmanship could have been a bit better, but it's still a very nice guitar. I can't find anything on the web, so evidently he's no longer in business. Too bad, as this guitar showed great promise, I thought. |

Date was probably late 80s or early 90s. He had lived homeless for several years. All that was said of him was the John McLaughlin played one of his (acoustic) guitars. Not sure it was the same man since I don't remember his initials. |
