I am more concerned about the one northwest of Boulder. It's closer to home for some of the 'Catters I know. It sounds as though they hope to have both under control, though, as there is cooler and wetter weather moving in today. So far, we're fine on the Western Slope. kat |

They are calling it the "Overland" fire and apparently it is up near the old mining town of Jamestown, which they say was saved by the weather. Over 300 homes were evacuated, but it looks as though they've been allowed to return, though a few homes were lost. There's more HERE. I hope he is safe. The weather is cooperating, at least. luvyakat |
