Original and traditional things for voice, guitar, fiddle, whistles, pipes, mandolins, the mesmerising songs of Mike Ryan and the exemplary guitaring of one of Barrow Haven's most accomplished guitarists. Good Guinness and great toilets. Oh, and a chance to buy "The Notes in the Stones" on wax cylinder or CD. |

The idea of doing it acousticly was well meant, but ill-conceived as a small bar full of hardcore weekend topers were succesful in shouting their opinions at each other at higher volume than Mikey can ullulate. Having said that, they did applaud wildly, and the particpation in the grand finale of Hartigan's was as enthusiastic as I've heard from the rythmically challenged. |
