Only in the leap from the lions head, shall he prove his worth....

Yup. Lots of times.

that's the thing about Hell...no road signs and easy ways out...you gotta jump hard & high. I did it once, and it came out ok...hope yours does.

Michelle, if you take the leap FROM hell I can't imagine you could end up anywhere worse. Good luck!

Faith makes for longer leaps, and a great wilingness to pay the piper. Way to go, whatever it was! Hope it was appropriately appreciated!

Not sure what you did, since you give no details, but I've leaped off many a cliff, usually with a result far above what I had hoped or far less awful than I had feared. Whether yours was a successful leap or not will probably depend on the soundness of your assessment of the situation, as to the risks, benefits, and your capabilities.

Regardless-- good luck! Keep us posted!

When people say they are scared of leaping, they are wrong. What they are scared of is landing.

Hope yours are happy... I'm still waiting for mine.

I did this some five years ago, not really knowing what I was going to get myself into and how I would cope. Turns out that I can look after myself a lot better than I thought, or was led to believe. That leap was the turning point in my life and I will never regret it.

Hope it's the same for you, all good luck Michelle - just believe in yourself.

Is there a frying pan/fire component we should know about in this leap of yours?

Thanks for a momentary flash of inspiration. But then I remembered that I would lose my kids and the judge would issue a warrant for my arrest. I'm stuck. . . .

You take a blind leap with every breath you take. Every time you get out of bed. Every time you do ANYTHING at all.

Life is a blind leap.

To LilyFestre:

Dear Margaret,

Don't know what you left behind, but if it was that bad, then what's ahead has GOT to be better. I wish you success, kiddo. Yeah, please keep us posted, OK?

'They say, in the Air Force, "A landing's OK,
if the pilot gets out, and can still walk away."

But, in the Fleet Air Arm, the prospect is grim,
if the landing's piss-poor, and the pilot can't swim! The A25 song.

Happy landings.   Chris.

And yes, my wife and I emigrated, and from a not-bad country. It takes courage to make a leap, and you can only judge it by hindsight.

Just what the hell are you all talking about?? Took a leap from hell to what? And you all did this? WHAT?

Love, annamill(who is always jumping into something, but I usually knows what it is.)
