Banjo Exhibit and Katonah

Has anyone seen the new banjo exhibit at the Katonah Museum of Art? It is called the Birth of the Banjo and it is very cool! If you like the banjo at all, you need to see this exhibit. There is also a nice book that goes along with it.

I do don't know who did this, but it really brings the instrument to life for me. Let me know what you think after you see it, is it as good as I think or not?

Pardon my ignorance but where the Hell is the Katonah Museum of the Arts?

Sorry about that, Katonah is just outside of New York City not too far from White Plains.

Dick and I went to see it a couple of weeks ago and Dick brought his old fretless banjo along, which was quite a hit. Interesting exhibit.

Thanks But its a long walk from West London U K, though as a banjo basher I would be interested.

So tell us about the catalogue (book), the only way we from far away can get something...

I assume the Museum is the publisher. Their ISBN prefix is 0-915171

Unfortunately, I can't find the book in either Books in Print or World Cat.

Exhibition catalogues can be published in very limited numbers & be hard to get. If you really want it, I'd suggest you contact Elderly directly & see what they can arrange for shipping.

I only saw a pamphlet, which I don't think I still have or I would scan it for you. How do you add graphic attachments to threads?
