Some of the trees in the second picture are quite un-tree-like. I love it! It's something I really have to look at and not just glance at and forget about.

I want to stroke the bark of the smooth one, just left to centre.

Beautiful! The middle one looks like it walked the earth once in a place which time forgot. Will you tell us where they are located?

The first one I noticed the shadow of the tree looks like a hand. In the second the tree in the middle resembles a foot. Nice photos.

If I were going to complain, which is not going to happen, I would say that the resolution on the winter tree is too low to see what the ice is doing. I'd like to see that.

Years ago, I was driving along Route 17 in upstate NY early in the morning. The fog had mostly lifted but was somehow "caught" in some of the trees creating the eeriest sight - cottony white stuff caught in the branches and looking as if it was growing there. Your first tree almost catches the effect. Thanks for reminding me.

I am presuming that the trees are either ALL created graphically, or are photos seriously digitally altered in Photoshop...but either way, each is a well done creation.

You guys are the funniest on the internet.

Hey I grew up on rt. 17 in Vestal NY.

Then they built the new rt. 17. Before they opened it to cars I used to ride my bike on the highway with my eyes closed. That whole area is a treasure trove of fossils and some pretty unusual critters found no where else on earth like the shuttle aphids that spin their own little flying device in the shape of a snowflake almost 2 inches wide and float on the summer breeze. If you try to catch one you can't because they are electrostaticly charged to repel your touch.

Today I broke out the bubbly (Welches sparkling grape juice) to celebrate my first scathing review from a literary critc for my illustrated poems.
