Hi Folks,
I posted an earlier message and couldn't locate it again concerning my fiddle buzzing, sorry!

I've located the buzz to the tailpiece of the fiddle, now Im not quite sure what to do to remedy that. Any suggestions? Replace it? Tighten it? How?

Thanks for any help or suggestions

Are you sure it's the tail piece itsself? Could it be that one of the fine tuners is touching the belly? That will cause buzz. If that is it, loosen the string, readjust the tuner so it is NOT touching, then re tune with peg.

Or, it could possibly be that the gut holding the tailpiece to the end pin is too loose....if that is the case, take it to a luthier. I don't know how to fix that.

Buzzing - little bridge protectors on the E string?, maybe theres a lose screw? Check for crickets in your home.

Your original thread is here: Fiddle 'buzzes' what causes that?

Probably it would be a good idea to move there, now, or this one will rapidly fill up with suggestions which have already been made.
