This sunday will be the first session of 2004.I am confident that you will all ensure that we continue to "KEEP MUSIC LIVE" in the coming year.

For the benefit of all newcomers - and I am assured that there will be some - it is a 2pm start, ? finish. As usual, all welcome.

I'll be there of course as will most of the people who were in the Sun last week. The Sun sessions are now continuing on a weekly basis from 3pm each Sunday so everyone is welcome to those when they are not in the Monk's.

That's confusing Sir Roger are you saying that there is a session at the sun every week including the first sunday of the month - does this now mean there are two sessions in Beberley on that particular sunday of the month?

Or havn't I woken up yet?

Keith Gay will continue to run his 1st Sunday session at the Sun - you may recall that he was running one there for a long time before the Nellie's session moved to the Sun and he has resumed now that it has moved to the Monk's. So, the situation is similar to when Keith was running his at the Sun and the first Sunday was also on at Nellies.

It was discussed at the Hull CAMRA meeting last night. I will check with the person who reported it.

Maybe Beardy was getting confused with the Beehive and the Sloop, both of which have "pub to let" signs outside.

Dean, on your one visit to the Sloop did you find the sprout Oakley left in the toilet? CT.

We were discussing the Sloop in Beverley, I thought, Colin. Though strangely enough the facilities did have a familiar smell of rotting vegetation. He gets everywhere, that Oakley fellow.
