09 Jan 04 - 11:39 AM (#1089442) Subject: RE: Hammer Jammer From: s&r It has six rubber hammers on a frame, the spacing of the hammers is the same as the string spacing The idea is that the frame is fastened to the edges of the fingerboard close to the body so when you tap the hammer it hits the string. Makes the guitar sound piano-ish. The frame is clamped to the edges of the fingerboard by small screws, so that it's removable. Does that make sense? :' Stu |

As to the small machine screws, I would scout around the web for a firm that can deliver them by post, if local resources won't serve -- I doin't know where you are, though. Thanks for clarifying! It is called an ebow . |
