The bots were destroyed. The Martians then quickly used their sophisticated computer systems to cleverly send a simulation of the bots to the Terrans to trick the Terrans into thinking that their bots are still functioning within normal parameters. The report from Terrans that 3 of our species have been captured by the evil Terrans, is simply propaganda which was fabricated one of the Terran leaders known as "Bushlite."
