Does anyone out there have the dots for this song. I have the lyrics but need some music notation

Thanks in advance for your help

There are at least three lyrics threads, so I'm surprised no-one posted an abc or midi. There are two different tunes to which the song is sung )compare Na Casaidigh recordings to Altan recording); one of the tunes is published as sheet music in Ceolta Gael, edited by Seán Óg & Manus Ó Baoill, published by Mercier Press of Cork, Ireland.

threads:
ta/ mo cleamhnas a dhe/anamh

tá mo chleamhnas a dhéanamh

Tá mo chleamhas déanta

Thanks Philippa I looked at the lyric threads when searching out the lyrics. It's the van morrison effort I'm after as we've been asked to play it for a wedding. We can probably do it from the CD but if we had the music notation that would be easier.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Sarah

Has anyone heard a full set of words to what is most likely a parody of this (rather than an independent composition) which in the obvious part goes:

Tá do mhadra, níl mo mhadra, níl mo mhadra díolta.

I heard "Tá mo mhadra scaoilte"!

But I don't think you have "Tá mo chleamhnas a dhéanamh" in mind at all, but "Téir abhaile": Tá do mhargadh, níl mo mhargadh, tá do mhargadh déanta" I have that to a slightly different tune than the song about the dog (which I don't know, but have heard)

I'm sorry, this info will be of no use to Sarah (try Áine or Alison!). I don't have Ó Baoill to hand, but I think it had the other tune for "Tá mo chleamhnas ..."

Now, if an Púca was looking for sheet-music, "Téir abhaile" is in Micheál Bowles, "Claisceadal 2". Bowles writes that "The Kerry Jig, in Graves' Irish Song Book, may be thought similar to the tune of this song; likewise, O'Neill's Irish Music, No. 203."

"Radhadlam Raindí" is in the 1976 publication of "Cuisle an Cheoil". The Education Dept, An Roinn Oiceahais, still publishes a book called "Cuisle an Cheoil", but according to the catalogue of "An Gum" the present edition contains different songs. "Radhalam Raindí" (rattle-um-randy ?) is the tune to which I heard "Tá mo mhadra ..." sung by one of the Ó Beaglaioch brothers of Kerry, Breandán or Séamus.

So, Púca, I think you have given me the makings of a couple more threads ... sometime soon ...

not to intrude on Sarah's search anymore, the two songs I mentioned in regards to an Púca's request are now posted at
Radhaldum and Téir abhaile
