However, I think if you look at how the rhymes work, this pair of verses is more complete and the words are in the right order. I'll keep asking around.. Hope it helps... That album also has Daly singing WHEN I LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND – which reinforces my theory that the Glasgow version is a parody. (It's possible that they changed the tune for copyright reasons.) |
