From: GUEST I have been a member for several months, and even had my locality registered, but in the last two days all my postings show "Guest" before my name. To do that, go to the Quick Links at the top of the page, use the scroll down menu to choose "Login", then click on Go. Follow the instructions and you should be fine. If you have any problems getting it to work, post back here. Just so you know, in the future, for these types of problems, it is best to post in the HELP forum, which you can access by clicking on HELP at the top menu bar or going to www.help.mudcat.org. It took me awhile to figure out my system's cookie blocking thing. Then it switched back again. You can look it up in the faq, the usual sorts of problems. I can't remember how, it was too easy to leave an impression. |

From: Mr Red I regularly wipe my cookies with "System Suite" but I have the oprion to leave certain ones and Mudcat is one of them. The annoying thing is Yahoo do actually do useful things with them for you - like prioritorise your search to UK just when you want to go global even though it doesn't need a cookie on your machine to do that. I would rather be anonimous. I barely know myself! |
