Recognized some entertainers. I had the privledge of meeting and spending a little time with Brendan Nolan. Great entertainer and wonderful person. This festival should be listed. I'm not sure what I was expecting; but this was bigger, if nothing else. What with seven stages in use simultaneously and hundreds of vendors scattered everywhere, there was no lack of things to hear and to see. The music was, at times, excellent. However, I am absolutely sure I heard one band do "Wild Rover" for which I hope they sought absolution later. I could have stayed longer, I'm sure, but I was just about worn out from all the walking. I did manage to visit the booth where Mimosa was. I've talked him into giving me harp and voice lessons! Hooray! |
