Only three weeks until NTIF!! Can't wait - especially after missing last year. Check it out at www.ntif.org (I'd make it a clicky if I knew how).

Lots of great artists, but no Jed Marum (whio is a great artist)

Jed, did I miss your name on the performers list? Bummer if ya ain't gonna be there!

Just finished reading about this festival. I went to the link as you suggested. Sounds like a great time. Recognized some entertainers. I had the privledge of meeting and spending a little time with Brendan Nolan. Great entertainer and wonderful person. This festival should be listed. Why don't you do the orgnizers a favour. Go to the top of the page and under "Links" you can mention it there. Have fun, as I'm sure you will.

Here is the link to the festival. I plan to be there. Hope to see a few other 'Catters as well. I'm afraid brother Marum has a scheduling conflict and it doesn't look to me as though he'll be attending the festival.

Yep, I'll be there. Also, look for erstwhile Mudcatter, Mimosa at the Geoffrey Harp School booth.

I havn't seen Momosa for quite awhile. Thanks for the tip. We hope to get there in time to see "Men Of Worth" about 1 o'clock. Just look for a chubby guy about 50 with glasses and a short ponytail. I mean - how many guys fitting that discription could there be at a festival like that ??

Today has been a beautiful, pleasantly warm day. I've just returned from the festival. I'm not sure what I was expecting; but this was bigger, if nothing else. What with seven stages in use simultaneously and hundreds of vendors scattered everywhere, there was no lack of things to hear and to see. The music was, at times, excellent. However, I am absolutely sure I heard one band do "Wild Rover" for which I hope they sought absolution later.

I could have stayed longer, I'm sure, but I was just about worn out from all the walking. I did manage to visit the booth where Mimosa was. I've talked him into giving me harp and voice lessons! Hooray!
