Harri Watts Band, real ale

26 Feb 04 - 04:27 PM (#1124658)
Subject: harriWattsband real ale

If we all agree that real ale and music go together this is NOT a BS thread. For two wonderful weeks Spring Bank Tavern Hull is hosting a Beer Festival (sorry jOhn Bear Festival) from 1st March to 13th March inclusive.   harriWattsband on Saturday 6th March will be hosting an acoustic session from 1pm.

El Ted in a red and yellow flamenco number complete with wellies for the British weather. Now there's a site.

Subject: RE: harriWattsband real ale
From: harpmaker

Not seen the wellies, but I can remember one night out when I saw El Tod with her mates (in pocket!) Beverley Barton wore a lovely blue 'Malaguena', Bobjack was wearing a pink & gold 'Tientos y tangos' and El Terd was wearing a orange mountain bike over her black 'Solea'! They did look good together, and all the lards where after them. But they said the 'material' was too hard, and was scratching their nail varnish.

I would just like to clarify that the Guest Emma Rugg that is posting here is NOT Emma Rugg..
I have almost finished the message board i am working on and after mailing Emma's website for permission to use lyrics, they clarified with me that it is NOT Emma.

As for the message board, unfortunately it may have some pop up advertising on there, however, i hope it won't discourage people from visiting, also if you have the Google Toolbar, it will stop popups from there anyway.
I personally do not get the pop ups when i am browsing my other forums on public computers, but it is something to be aware of.

Hey, Thornton was polite. He did not swear. Or do any real harm. There is a difference. Anyway, we think we've sorted it now. Sorry to intrude.

Chill out, boys and girls. And thankyou for your kind words, SL.

The troll problem is in the process of being solved. It would appear to be somebody at ossonflags' work. Think they'll be in trouble when Mick gets his hands on him.

SL....what time is the 31st scheduled to start?

I don't scare you!?!? All i have to do is look at you in the wrong way and you run in the opposite direction!

Argh! Enough of things...if you wanna turn up then fine...just don't expect me to speak to you. Ever again.

We will play at the wedding (guitars and things). It'll be fab. What's everyone wearing and will it be in summer when it's too hot to wear any clothes. Don't worry my instrument has never offended anyone!

It has wooden overtones. But less about my prized asset and more about the Bride and Groom. Will the honeymoon be in Brid?

Adam, what are you doing!? I thought we agreed we were going to keep it a secret! I can't believe you've told them...how I can marry you when I can't even trust you not to say anything....that's it, the weddings OFF!!

Anyway, i'm already married to a sexy little thing and it's our five year anniversary on Monday. I must admitt though, it's been hard work to get this far. For those who have never met my other half before i can tell you now, she can be very tempermental sometimes. For instance, only today, when we was on top of this rather high hill...instead of going quietly forward down the hill...she instead decided she'd have more fun rearing up 3 times non-stop and on the 3rd time twisting right round (unseating me making me loose one stirrup) and then continuing to leap down the slope, hitting the groud at a gallop. I can confidently say my pants were filled after our little ordeal!

Hehehe

"YOU ARE NOT WATCHING ME DO ANYTHING ON WEDNESDAY, DAY OR NIGHT. SO THERE!"

A direct quote.

However, as i am so cunning / annoying... whichever way you want to look at it, i watched her throw a metal bowl on the floor and shout "You get something down you!" several times in the day.

and, on the night i watched her singing very well accompanied by a rubbish guitar player ;) and also a fantastic duo and trio band.

So, i defied this quote, and i am currently bored so thought i would point that out.

off to bed now i think
